From the looks of it, the Kelly Wearstler Fall 2012 collection is the designer's personal attempt to single-handedly end the retro, Mad Men-inspired look that has been taking over the fashion world as of late.
Wearstler's presentation features kilts, studs and lots of acid-washed denim (in several different colors). Rather than taking inspiration from the 1950s, like so many designers have been doing for so long now, the Kelly Wearstler Fall 2012 offering is blatantly 80s inspired.
Bright, fun colors are plentiful in this fall offering, and knits are chunky, oversized and wonderfully, whimsically printed. The Kelly Wearstler Fall 2012 collection might just be the most wearable line of New York Fashion Week thus far.
