In this silly photographic series, a creative group called Z999 shoots funny scenarios revolving around puddles in potholes to raise awareness about the poor road conditions in and around Kaunas, Lithuania. Photographers Arturas Artiusenka and Eurika Balciute captured their friends doing a variety of activities near the muddied water. From fishing to laundry, the group pretend to do a number of water-based tasks that would typically be done in much bigger bodies of water.
This very much gets the point across concerning how large the potholes are and the dangers they pose to residents of Kaunas, Lithuania. The lighthearted photography project will send a visual message to the local government to do something about the problematic pavement in their municipality.
