Tempting Taxidermy Shoots

The Kat and Duck 'Fancy a Shag?' Shoot for Fantastics Magazine is Sultry

The Kat and Duck 'Fancy a Shag?' shoot for Fantastics Magazine is a collection of suggestive 1970s-inspired shots.

The photography team shot the editorial with the intent of channeling a 70s housewife with an endless amount of young American money and classic lingerie. The scene features a fantastic shag carpet, wood paneling and faux-ferns. There is certainly an ambiguous appeal to the editorial as it both pokes at the sexist, perverted side of the past satirically, but also sheds a brighter spotlight on the bizarre allure of a bachelor pad.

The styling is done by Lisa Smith Craig. Her talent is sharp and crisp, and evidently masterful. Craig includes curl-heeled pumps and plum lipstick to keep the shoot edgy.

The Kat and Duck shoot will have you considering getting a shag carpet of your own.
