Y-3 Launches the KASABARU Sneaker for the SS19 Season

Fashion label Y-3 introduces the latest KASABARU sneaker model, which boasts avant-garde design aesthetics for the Spring/Summer 2019 season. The model draws inspiration from the Trimm Trab by adidas, spotlighting the sole unit from the 70s and its dramatic groove accents. These accents were originally seen across the midsoles, with additional new updates at the lace locking system and thick midsole branding accent.

The traditional Trimm Trab was a basketball sneaker design from the 70s and the high-top structure is revived in new fabric materials as well. The uppers are now constructed from lightweight nylon materials and sit atop a Japanese rubber sole. The rubber lacing rubes have elasticized 360 angles in order to provide maximum performance for the wearer. The tongue is constructed from leather with Y-3 branding.
