Illusion-Inducing Catwalks

The JW Anderson Fall/Winter 2012 Offers Snowbound Geometrics

Inspired by seventies mod, the new JW Anderson Fall/Winter 2012 collection, which was recently presented at London Fashion Week, showcased a diverse collection of contemporary sportswear in it latest showing. Perforated leather pieces, geometric prints, quilted garments and clothing crafted from snowsuit material were all key elements of this collection.

Ski boot-inspired footwear was also seen on all of the catwalk’s models and played a part in unifying the collection as a whole. Some of the collections most bizarre pieces included head-to-toe geometric-printed outfits that played an optic illusion on the eyes and some strange nylon skirts. One thing is for sure, the JW Anderson Fall/Winter 2012 line will definitely get its wearer noticed no matter what pieces from the collection he decides to sport.
