Nostalgic Collaborative High Fashion

Julien Dossena Presents a Capsule for JPG Haute Couture

Julien Dossena is the latest to create a special collection for Jean Paul Gautier Haute Couture amongst the list of designers who have done the same. He is the fifth guest designer and the show took place in Paris on July 5th earlier this month, following Oliver Rousteing, Haider Ackermann, Glenn Martens, and Chitose Abe.

Dossena presents a selection of looks that are inspired by the back catalog of JPG. It includes faux fur dynamic headwear like the ones that first launched during the Fall of 2019 or the embroidered corsets by the house back in 1997 as a part of its couture debut. Overall, it has a nostalgic element, tapping into the archives of the fashion house.
