Snøhetta and Alley Poyner Macchietto Expand the Joslyn Art Museum

Architecture studios Snøhetta and Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture work together to complete a renovation process which results in an expansion of the Joslyn Art Museum. It is located in Omaha and it has a new addition of a dynamic pavilion. The renovation process comprised altering the pre-existing buildings and area along with adding a new extension that cuts off along the front.

The founding partner of Snøhetta, Craig Dyker shares, "Our comprehensive reconsideration of the Museum grounds, the existing interiors, and the newest building all work together to create a more inviting entry for the growing spectrum of people that visit the Museum. Our goal has been to provide a harmonious place for guests, art, and gathering that will become a vessel for inspiration and creativity to flourish."
