The 2020 MINI 'John Cooper Works GP' was recently revealed and it will be the fastest car released by the brand that is street-legal. The car was unveiled at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show, and it will be limited to only 3,000 makes. The 2020 MINI John Cooper Works GP will have a starting price of $44,900 USD and deliveries will begin in March 2020.
The car is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that is able to produce 302 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. It also has an eight-speed Steptronic transmission system. In order to increase the speed of the car, MINI made design decision to reduce the weight of the car, which included removing the rear seats.
