Former NFL Lineman Gets Serious about Green Energy

Former NFL Lineman Syd Kitson, who spent six years with the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys, is bucking up to promote alternative eco-friendly solar energy in the Sunshine State.

Kitson held a recent press conference revealing his plans for the Babcock Ranch property in Florida, which featured representatives from the Audubon Society, the World Wildlife Fund and the Sierra Club.

Plans to power the Babcock Ranch with a 75-megawatt photovoltaic plant should be more than four times as cost-effective as the nuclear reactors currently underway near the Florida Keys.
