Jian Guo, an artist who features his work regularly on the 'deviantART' website, has recently completed a series of stunning paintings that appear to be stained glass. The paintings by Jian Guo depict various popular scenes, stories and legends from the World of Warcraft, the very popular online role-playing game.

As someone who has close to no knowledge whatsoever pertaining to the World of Warcraft, its history, fan base or rules, I still find the paintings by Jian Guo extremely appealing. The detail illustrated throughout the series is truly mesmerizing and his ability to paint something that looks so similar to glass is unbelievable.

The colors used by Jian Guo throughout the collection is also noteworthy as they manage to bring the various scenes of dragons, wizards, creatures and beasts immediately to life. Check out the artist's page for more images of his talented work.
