Jessica Simpson To Launch perfume

Singer and actress Jessica Simpson has become the latest in a long line of celebrities to launch her own perfume. The 27 year-old star has signed a deal with Parlux fragrances, the company behind Paris Hilton's scent range, with Simpson joining the likes of Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Jessica Simpson, who also has a clothing line, a shoe line and a beauty range (i.e. Dessert) is no stranger to the fashion industry. The as-yet-unnamed perfume is expected to hit shelves next summer (2008).
