In mid-February, former athlete and now fashion designer Daniel Patrick, the New York Red Bulls, and Major League Soccer boasted a collaborative jersey release. This project was 18 months in the making.
The exclusive design, which retails for $169 USD, pays homage to New York City—one of Daniel Patrick's favorite places and features a playful tie-dye design that is not common for jerseys, making this one unique. Through this design decision, the collaborators aimed to evoke to "constant motion and energy of [New York City]." Other details of the jersey release include the recognizable Red Bulls logo on the center chest, as well as the signature adidas three stripes along each shoulder.
The jersey release is available in limited quantities.
