The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has been revealed online before its official coming out party at the 2017 New York Auto Show. The American car has the distinction of being the fastest SUV ever. It is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque. All that power is sent to four wheels via the Trackhawk's all-wheel-drive system. Its incredible engine power and AWD equals a 0-60 mph time of just 3.5 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 11.6 seconds.
That's incredibly impressive given that the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk seats five, weighs 5,300 pounds and can tow up to 7,200 pounds. On paper the Trackhawk matches up well against foreign competition like the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S and BMW X5 M. It may even be a worthy competitor to Lamborghini's upcoming SUV, the Urus. Even if the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk can't beat those other cars on the track it will beat them in price as the muscle-bound family hauler is expected to sell for around $80,000.
