The Jeep Chief Concept may look like a blast from the past and for good reason. The design is inspired by the 70s era Cherokee, even though it is based on the more modern-day Wrangler model. It might be "a throwback to the beach rides of yesteryear," as Uncrate puts it, but it's made for today's generation.
A mean machine at heart, the Jeep Chief Concept boasts a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with six-speed manual transmission and a two-inch lift kit with Fox shocks. Yet people will probably only walk away with a visual impression. The Jeep Chief Concept's blue and white flowered cloth seats, vintage Ocean Blue exterior, white roof and custom razor grille taken from the original Wagoneer is hard not to appreciate.
