Jail Cell Accommodations

Artist Miao Jiaxin Posts a Unique Airbnb Rental for Only $1 a Night

It's not everyday that people get to stay in a jail cell accommodation, nor live out what could be construed as an S&M fantasy straight out of 'Fifty Shades of Gray.' Unfortunately for those who would have booked two nights at the 'Dream Cage,' Airbnb removed the posting a few short hours after it was put up. Questionable, to say the very least, it only cost $1 to stay at this particular jail cell accommodation.

Hosted by Miao Jiaxin, an artist who was born in Shanghai and now lives in New York, the jail cell accommodation came with a big caveat. From nine in the morning to noon, guests wouldn't have had access to any entertainment and wouldn't have been allowed to talk, exercise or sleep. Two cameras would monitor the guests activity to ensure no rules were broken.
