'Fantic,' the Italy-based bicycle manufacturer, unveiled its latest step-through e-bike, the 'Issimo 45.' This is an S-Pedelec version of the company's previous e-bike, meaning it boasts increased performance and a high top speed. As a result of this performance, the bicycle is only legal to be ridden on the road, making it closer to an electric motorcycle than an e-bike.
The Fantic Issimo 45 boasts electric pedal assistance up to 45 kilometers per hour and a range of roughly 50 km, but this value will fluctuate based on the level of pedal assistance used. Aside from this, the e-bike is powered by a 500W motor which is supplied by a 600kWh battery.
This e-bike has the standard speed modes, electric-assist, no electric-assist, and uphill assistance, in addition to a mode that Fantic refers to as 'Walk Assist.' This powers the wheels slightly while the bike is being pushed, which makes walking the bike much easier for riders.
