A collection of 10 Iranian fabric designs were recently released by textile manufacturer Christian Fischbacher who collaborated with architect Hadi Teherani. The two of them aimed to capture "the contrasting colors of the Iranian landscape" and introduce these into the contemporary home in the form of curtains and upholstery. Christian Fischbacher and Hadi Teherani have named this capsule the Contemporary Persia collection. All materials include a blend of linen, wool, and polyester. They promise to elevate the home environment.
Each pattern carries a story with it. Roya, for example, draws inspiration from the "landscape and hues of the Iranian Aladagh Mountains." Afsun, on the other hand, mimics the Persian letters H and T which, in turn, stand for Hadi Teherani's initials.
