Reko Rivera and Bobby Hartman’s iPhone costumes take an obsession with Apple products to particularly tech-savvy extremes for Halloween 2009. They teamed up with John Savio and John Matthews to recreate the iPhone 3GS using 42" LCD TVs.
According to the YouTube description of the video above, each of the LCD TVs on Reko Rivera and Bobby Hartman’s iPhone costumes feature a looping video of an actual iPhone’s screen in normal use. It’s cost the duo about $2,000 to create the iPhone costumes, and they’re entering every Halloween costume contest possible to try to win back some of their funds.
