The Iota Folding Toilet is a space-saving design that also uses less water, which makes it efficient on at least two important levels. Made with smaller washrooms in mind, it curls up against the wall like a mollusk shell when it is being flushed. It can only be surmised that the Iota Folding Toilet takes advantage of gravity to rid itself of its content since it only uses 2.5 liters of water a flush.
Designed by Gareth Humphreys and Elliot Whiteley as their final year project at the University of Huddersfield, the Iota Folding Toilet boasts a rimless construction and a built-in U-bend that disengages from the waste pipe while still maintaining an air tight seal.
