This Interactive iPhone Attachment Creates 3D Images

This futuristic-looking interactive iPhone attachment allows users to create 3D images and animations through a series of optical illusions. The clever device named the 'luminogeist' was originally created by Japanese designer Yuri Endo as part of a digital media presentation at IDAS (Hongik University) for his final thesis project.

With this visually stunning project, Yuri elaborated on the development of interactive art. The 'science' behind the gadget is essentially an optical illusion -- but that doesn't make it any less awe-inspiring. Attach the device to your iPhone and you'll soon be able to play with graphics dancing in mid air before your very eyes. Yuri has worked on a number of projects researching new ways for art and technology to interact during her time at IDAS.
