Gabriele Meldaikyte has artistically portrayed the relationship between the iPhone and finger in an interactive exhibit. Through ingenious, yet simple designs, one can live vicariously through the experience of using an iPhone.
Each piece is crafted with simple materials and for complex purposes. From zooming in with the touch of a finger to scanning through digital pages, her exhibit features five different recreations.
Some of the materials used include newsprint and book pages, which represent digital information, wood, of purpose to operate functions and acrylic, which acts as the screens.
On her relevant interactive exhibit, Gabriele has said she plans to, "perpetuate them so they become accessible for future generations." It is of interest to see and hopefully have the opportunity to play with her next exhibit.
