This Gallery Shows How People Interact with Nature Through Design

The Chamber design gallery in New York is currently hosting an exhibit centered on the the human being's different interactions with nature. The aptly named 'Human Nature' exhibit was curated by photographer and filmmaker Andrew Zuckerman, who looked at the project from a different perspective. Rather than curate the project from an art history lens, Zuckerman instead approached the exhibit with a simplistic view.

Throughout the gallery, Zuckerman wants to engage with the relationship between humans and nature in different ways. This includes a rug that is made to look like a forested lake, juxtaposed with an oddly-shaped gray sofa. Other interesting pieces include NASA's lunar rake. The exhibit explores the various interactions with nature through its manifestations in art, design and everyday life.
