A technology-infused watch beyond its time is the Intel Smartwatch, making all the noise in Las Vegas. Unveiled at CES 2014, tech company Intel made an outstanding presentation surrounding all its wearable tech pieces, one of which is a smartwatch unlike any other. Contrary to other smartwatches, the Intel Smartwatch won't be needing a smartphone to function; this watch has connectivity all covered.
However, just like your favorite smartphone, this timepiece features geofencing, which grants the user notifications based on location. Intel is all about wearable technology this year, and this watch is by far my favorite piece of scientific fashion. Though this tech timepiece is still undergoing its construction stages, I'm sure it will be a smartwatch hard to beat when it finally releases.
