Designers have been coming up with different ways to bring the social media world offline, and one innovation way is the Instacube, a digital photo display that will showcase all of your Instagram photos via a wireless connection.
The Instacube is a square box with a 600-by-600-pixel LCD touchscreen display and will showcase Instagram photos that are three times larger than smartphone display size. The Instacube is wirelessly connected to the Internet and its lithium battery is rechargeable. It can display photos you've posted on Instagram or what the people you follow on Instagram have posted; you can even choose to display only photos that are associated with a specific hashtag. The top of the Instacube features three buttons that allow you to turn the device on and off, switch between different feeds on Instagram, and "like" photos.
Currently being funded on Kickstarter, the Instacube is in prototype stage and the founders hope to secure $250,000 to bring the product to market.
