The collaborative launch of OSHbot -- a robotic alternative to a human customer service empolyee -- will be available at Orchard Supply Hardware, the first shop in America to to feature an Autonomous Retail Service Robot (ARSR) system.
Orchard's San Jose retail location will be home to OSHbot, a robot that aims to assist and educate store visitors in the similar way that a human employee would. This intuitive retail concept is just one of the many sophisticated projects being developed by Lowe's Innovation Labs and changes the way one shops for hardware supplies. In addition to assisting store visitors with product info, OSHbot can also communicate in different languages, making one's shopping experience more personalized and hassle-free.
