The Innesti Collection juxtaposes two seemingly separate materials in order to create something that is as visually striking as it is physically purposeful. These two materials happen to be glass and textile. Although it can't be denied that individually the textures complement each other naturally, together there is something dissonant about the two. Yet the Innesti Collection is still beautiful to behold.
Designed by Alexandra Denton and Sofia Lazzeri, the Innesti Collection is set to be exhibited during the upcoming Stockholm Design Week. Named after the Italian word for 'grafting,' a botanic technique used to join tissue from one plant with another, the knitted part of the vessels to appear to be grafted onto the glass portion.
