High-end British fashion house Alexander McQueen showcased its brand new Spring/Summer 2023 capsule to the world with an inflatable dome fashion show. Measuring 26 meters in width, the transparent structure was designed by Chilean architect Smiljan Radić.
The inflatable dome was actually designed for Alexander McQueen for its Spring/Summer 2022 show but the brand states that the structure was meant to be " reused for a number of educational and cultural events." This recycling of this design motif allows for the high-end fashion brand to exhibit something in new settings while also being sustainably minded about the production effort that goes into planning various events.
The inflatable dome fashion show took place on the lawns of the Old Royal Naval College in London.
