The Fisher & Paykel 36-inch Induction Cooktop with Integrated Ventilation has been previewed by the brand at the 2024 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) as an appliance solution that eliminates the need for range hoods.
The system is engineered with flush or raised countertop installation scenarios and has a four-zone induction cooktop that works with a nine-speed fan in the middle. This fan captures smoke and cooking vapors before they can disperse into the surrounding area, and is rated to achieve a top speed of 413-cubic-feet-per-minute (CFM) to keep it similar to what conventional range hoods can do.
