Two Web3 platforms, Immunefi and Shardeum, are partnering to launch a Bug Bounty. The joint venture is between Shardeum, an autoscaling layer-1 blockchain, and Immunefi, the leading bug bounty platform. This partnership aims to fix any critical issues and bugs within the network before Shardeum's mainnet goes live.
Shardeum has previously engaged in multiple internal security audits with external vendors; however, this is the company's first launch of a bug bounty program. The initiative permits individuals to hack the system to identify bugs and vulnerabilities ethically. Those who can furnish concrete proof of concept and demonstrate replicability will be compensated with bounties. To administer this program, Shardeum has teamed up with Immunefi, making it possible for developers from across the globe to sign up and take part easily.
