Urban street artist, ich bin KONG’s latest installation Balltooth took hold of bystanders in Wiesbaden, Germany. The concept behind this project was, as written on the artist's webpage,"The disturbing power of joy in an urban environment." ich bin KONG filled several phone booths to the brim around the city with helium-filled balloons.
When people saw these delightful and cheery booths, they were welcomed to interact with the artwork. If bystanders chose to open up the door, they were greeted with oodles of colorful balloons.
The balloons lead to a psychedelic and multicolored experience in the sky. The neon colors were a lighthearted pick-me-up for everyone involved. Every person captured in the photographs has wonder and happiness printed on their face.
