Richardson works in collaboration with Kitmura's Hysteric Glamour brand on a collection of apparel for the Fall/Winter 2020 season. The range of goods celebrate archival graphics and streetwear silhouettes. Richardson was founded in 1998 and Hysteric Glamour in 1984, which gives both brands a rich and diverse range of selection when it comes to images. Two main prints come to mind -- the "Rocker" and the "Junkie's Baddy Powder."
The chosen images reflect the two contributing efforts' shared fascination of iconography and subcultures overall. The series of hoodies and graphic tees feature the additional visuals on the back along with co-branding details to capture the joint project. Richardson explains, "Iconoclasm is difficult to maintain, as is transgression, but that has been a shared vision of the two brands over all of these years [...] This limited collaboration is both a signal to that long past, and a hope — a dare — for its resurgence."
