Italian engineering design firm Pininfarina has come up with a futuristic hydrogen-powered car concept that was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. Named the H2 Speed, this particular vehicle concept features power drawn from a pair of electric motors that together pump out around 500 horsepower at a scarcely believable 13,000 revolutions per minute.
The vehicle is capable of zooming from zero to 100 km/h in only 3.4 seconds on its way to a top speed of around 300 km/h.
Perhaps the most eye-catching technological feature of this hydrogen-powered car concept is the fact that its only emitted material is water, making it exceptionally eco-friendly without compromising on performance. This vehicle is a concept that requires years of refining before it can be thought of as a possible production offering, but still goes to prove how smart use of science can in fact make vehicles more sustainable without hampering the driving experience in any way.
