Heavy-Duty Hydrogen Trucks

This Tweaked Volvo Truck Uses Hydrogen Gas Instead of Diesel Pollutants

While the consumer automobile industry has been making major strides in efforts to make vehicles more eco-friendly, the commercial trucking industry has lagged behind due to the significant technological challenges that it faces in ditching fossil fuels, which is precisely why British company ULEMCo's modified hydrogen truck is such a massive achievement.

Built out of a converted Volvo FH16, this particular truck is designed to use hydrogen gas instead of conventional diesel or petrol, which makes it an emissions-free heavy-duty vehicle, something that was long thought to be an oxymoron.

This high-tech hydrogen truck is capable of churning out around 300 horsepower and offer a range in the region of 300 kilometers, making it suitable for commercial trucking operations despite not burning any pollutants.
