Seiko has redone its iconic 1982 hybrid diver watch, titled the SNJ028. The original hybrid diver watch was iconic because it was the first watch that combined analog and digital components in its design. Many of the same components were included in the updated design, including a digital readout chronograph, as well as time, date and alarm functions that are all presented on the digital screen.
The most notable difference is that the new watch has a solar-powered design that can power the watch for six months on one charge. The new watch is also waterproof up to 200 meters.
The new Seiko watch is currently available from the Seiko website for a $550 USD price point.
