The 'PAS Brace', is Yamaha Motor's latest eight gear hybrid electric bicycle. The electric bike is targeted towards male consumers who like the controlled speed and sporty feel.
The Yamaha PAS Brace features a detachable white LED lamp and a shift position sensor that detects the gear speed of the bicycle. You can shift gears easily, even when the pedals are not moving, which is part of the S.P.E.C.8 mechanism.
The PAS Brace isn't released yet, but Yamaha plans to introduce it first in Japan, with a selling target of 2,500 units per year. The bicycle will launch on August 8, and will be selling for ¥125,800 ($1,168).
