Takashi Murakami Creates Stunning Hublot Classic Fusion Watches

Takashi Murakami is known for his vivid contemporary art style and has brought that to his second Hublot Classic Fusion collaboration.

The Hublot Classic Fusion watches feature Murakami's signature smiling flower, designed using gemstones and crystals as its medium. The first collaboration watch was an all-black palette, and this most recent collaboration is the opposite with a rainbow palette.

Murakami spoke about the collaboration on the Hublot website about the high-tech watches in relation to his art and said, "I realized to what extent the traditional know-how, precision, futuristic technology, and craftsmanship were all intertwined in the creation of a watch. Bringing my art into the creativity of these watchmakers represents a new adventure for me."

The Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami Sapphire Rainbow will be priced at $10,600 USD and is limited to only 100 pieces made for this collection.
