The conceptual 'Hplus' health-monitoring devices have been designed as a set of style-conscious solutions for those who live with common health conditions to provide a sense of empathy to users.
Designed by Matt Canham, the various devices in the collection provide support for nine common health conditions by analyzing urine, blood and more. The data from the test samples is then relayed to the user's smartphone to allow for analysis by the patient and even allow results to be sent to a doctor to allow for continuous monitoring.
The conceptual 'Hplus' health-monitoring devices were explained by Canham who said, "The project is designed to alleviate the pressure on general practitioners, by allowing patients to monitor elements of their condition that wouldn’t normally be possible with in-home devices. Underlying this aim, there is a core belief that functional devices should be intuitive and beautiful."
