The garage is typically not the most prominent feature of a home, yet in the House Unimog, it has literally been built as the highlight. After dark, you switch the lights on in the enclosed carport and it will give off a brilliant glow.
Designed by Wezel Architektur and Fabian Evers Architecture, this dwelling was commissioned for the proud owner of a Mercedes Benz Unimog truck who desired ample storage for his vehicle and a spacious surrounding workshop to facilitate its maintenance. The designers constructed a generous rectangular box with translucent siding that lets in plenty of sunlight during the day. A simple pitched-roof abode with opaque cladding caps it as a place for comfortable living.
