'House of VR' Brings Virtual Technology to Downtown Toronto

In an effort to make new virtual technology more accessible to consumers, a new lounge called 'House of VR' has opened up in Toronto's Queen West neighborhood. With a whimsical decor and all the latest gadgets, the new spot is a must for anyone itching to test out VR for themselves.

House of VR is a VR lounge featuring booths that can be rented out on an hourly basis. Each both is equipped with an HTC Vive system, which lets users move around the space as they explore virtual worlds. The booths are also outfitted with TV and green screens, so that others can watch their friend explore these virtual settings in real time.

With an emphasis on making VR more accessible to the average consumer, co-founder Jonah Brotman described House of VR as a "central place where people can come and try it out."
