Frequent travelers will soon be able to redeem their accumulating loyalty reward points for the Marriott, Ritz Carlton or the Starwood hotel, as the brands announced a unified program which will combine the hotel rewards points from all three brands.
The Marriott International recently made this announcement, and informed consumers that the new loyalty reward program will begin on August 1st, under a new name. This move will combine the points consumers have accumulated from all 6,500 hotels, across 127 countries. "We listened to the travel aspirations of our members and set our sights on unlocking the full potential of our loyalty programs." spoke The Marriott International's Senior Vice President of Global Loyalty, David Flueck. Through the unified program consumers can reach elite status and earn points quicker.
