These terrifying masks were made not so much to hide the wearer’s identity but, in my opinion, they were created for the shock value inherent in these gory displays.
Obviously, the accessories were worn by models as part of a very quirky, peculiar runway show put on by a very idiosyncratic fashion designer whose identity I don’t know.
Having said that, I like the two-headed mask worn by the model whose left eye is covered by what appears to be some kind of plaster. It must have been an interesting strut up and down the catwalk with an impaired sense of depth.
