Guerrilla Games and Sony are following up the release of 2017's 'Horizon Zero Dawn' with a new sequel that's exclusive to PlayStation 5 consoles, called 'Horizon Forbidden West.'
Like the first game, the sequel follows the story of a protagonist named Aloy, a genetic clone of an engineer who was created to save life on plant Earth after a plague destroyed much of the world as we know it. After succeeding in her mission in the first game, Aloy returns in Horizon Forbidden West to prevent the downfall of the planet yet again. Unlike in Zero Dawn, Forbidden West focuses largely on underwater exploration.
The open-world RPG is set to release in 2021, and a PlayStation 4 version is expected to come sometime afterwards.
