Autonomous vehicles are positioned to start showing up on our roadways in the near future and will transform the driving experience; the conceptual Honda Skyroom identifies how the in-car environment could be changed to accommodate this.
Designed by Dahye Jeong, the vehicle features a lounge-like interior that enables passengers to spread out and enjoy the view as they travel between locations. The roof section of the vehicle has been paired with a see-through dome to put a focus on the exterior view and put passengers at ease as they read, watch content or even nap.
The conceptual Honda Skyroom has a comfort-focused interior that takes full advantage of the absence of a traditional driver's seat to make vehicular travel more appealing as cars begin to drive themselves.
