There have been lots of time travel devices throughout movie history, but Hollywood Time Machines don't come any more iconic than Doc Brown and Marty McFly's time-jumping DeLorean.
Thanks to an extensive restoration effort headed by original Back to the Future producer Bob Gale, the original car used in the films has been completely restored to its original 80s glory. The Hollywood time machine is now on display at Universal Studios in California. The extensive project took over a year to complete, as the workers stripped the original car down to its bare frame. Every light, prop and component was completely cleaned (in some cases replaced) to create a car worthy of the film series' time traveling legacy.
Don't forget, 2015 is just around the corner and we still don't have hover boards from Back to the Future Part II: get on it guys!
