The boom of the wearable technology industry has prompted NewDealDesign, the masterminds behind the FitBit, to imagine the future of such devices; they came up with hi-tech tattoos. Essentially, they believe that wearable will eventually lead to embedded. Considering how big the tattoo industry is as well, this is something that many people may be inclined to entertain.
Of course, hi-tech tattoos is not the same thing as good ol' ink. After all, there becomes the issue of privacy and tracking. Yet NDD envisions hi-tech tattoos as very harmless and helpful. People would be able to benefit from dynamic authentication, accurate biometrics, convenience as well as a more intimate uses including self-expression and more. The hi-tech tattoo was specifically designed by Jaeha Yoo.
