Evisu is a Japanese designer that loves high end jeans. The company also loves Japan's history and wants to intermingle it with modern day American styles.
The Sashimono is an important icon of the Samurai, so Evisu designed these jeans with icons meant to strike fear in all those who approach the wearer.
Personally? I think in New York these jeans would indicate you got the crap beaten out of you.
