FLOWER Designs the Hi-Hat House in Colorado

Architecture studio FLOWER creates the Hi-Hat House located along the foothills of Boulder in Colorado. It is defined by its adaptive architecture while retaining the traditional details of the home. It has a cozy design language and is home to empty nesters. The result is modular so that it can cater to various purposes along with traditional building techniques fused into one space.

It was originally conceived as a home that is made from pre-fab components and the Hi-Hat House has gone through transformation through the construction journey. When the design was out for factory production and transportation, the team devices to create the house modules directly on the site. This decision alludes to the shipping and craning of the units.
