Hidden Vases by Chris Kabel is a collection of invisible vases, which emphasizes the plant life contained. Rotterdamn-based designer Kabel created this as a research project to explore the many ways of hiding the containers.
The aim of the project is to make the vases as invisible as possible in an effort to have flowers as the focal point. The crystalline glass collection draws the eyes directly to the flowers, making the formation of the water seem as if it stands on its own.
Most of the canisters are turned upside down to allow only a small amount of water to flow. The upside-down wine vases are a great way to add a little twist to flowering, and can even be a fun DIY project. The metallic chrome frames support long-stemmed flowers, which prevents it from falling over.
