Hidden Time Watches

Jiwoong Jung Designs a Chronograph That Tells Time with Fading Color Gradient

The Hidden Time Watch is a stunning design that changes over time -- and not in the abstract sense of time, but the more concrete one that involves telling it. It boasts a beautiful gradient that fades with the passing minutes in order to inform the wearer exactly what time it is.

Designed by Jiwoong Jung, an industrial designer based in Seoul, South Korea, Hidden Time Watch replaces the hour hand with the edge of a color gradient and the minute hand remains like any other traditional ones. Yet the results are still beautifully stark and minimalist. The numbers are also printed directly onto the glass of the Hidden Time Watch in order to streamline the look even more. It is available in two colors, white and beige as well as black and grey.
