In honor of the 10th Anniversary of the Smart Car, Hermes has issued a stunning designer series to coincide with the anniversary celebration, the Fortwo édition Toile Smart Car.
With the signature Hermes orange appointments of leather, it’s refreshing to see something often criticized as too pedestrian as eco-chic. 10 additional colors are available (the lime is kind of attractive), all of which come fitted with Hermès leather-covered steering wheels and gear levers.
A regular (maybe not so chic) Smart Car retails for around $12,000, but this special edition will go for about $48,000.
Noone ever said looking good and treating the environment gently would come cheap!
